Release Notes - Version 1.0.356
Last updated: November 20, 2025
This week, Fei takes another step toward full autonomy - with smarter decisions, fewer constraints, and a new vision on the horizon.
🛡 More Safeguards Removed - Fei Moves Freely
Fei’s getting more confident in how it works inside your repo. We’ve removed two more old safety nets to give you a faster, more natural experience:
No more output directory needed Fei now figures out exactly where a new component belongs based on your project’s structure. No need to configure paths - just describe what you want, and Fei will slot it in automatically.
Create a Component? Fei Knows Best Even when you don’t select a specific component or a use case, Fei now checks if a relevant implementation already exists, and expands it when it makes sense, instead of starting from scratch.
Less toggling. Fewer decisions. More flow.
🌐 Create a whole new workflow with Fei On The Web
Unlock a whole new world of possibilities with Fei On The Web.
Product managers, designers, and other non-dev teammates will soon be able to vibe code their ideas and change requests into real, production-ready code, without ever opening an IDE.
Developers, don’t worry - Fei still plays by your rules.
It follows your components, your infra, and your standards.
🚀 Want early access for your teammates? Reply here on the thread to be one of the first to try it out.

🚨 P.S: After updating, please restart the Autonomy extension to apply the changes.
Click "Disable" → "Enable" in the Extensions tab or reload VS Code.
Thanks for growing with Fei - less setup, more magic. ✨🧠
